Robyn Janneh is the founder of For the Love of Nations; a calling God placed on her heart after her first trip to Uganda in 2014. From the moment she met Mama Mary and the children of Share the Love Children’s Home, God began knitting their hearts together in a way she couldn’t explain. Over the years and through multiple return trips, He continued to open doors, deepen relationships, and make her assignment clear: she was to become a Mother to Nations and build an organization that would support and champion underserved children.
In 2019, during a trip back to Uganda, God confirmed that it was time to step forward in faith and launch this mission. Since then, Robyn has witnessed miracle after miracle as God has brought people, resources, and partners alongside the vision.
She lives by her favorite verse, Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.” Every step of this journey has been an example of His faithfulness—and her deepest joy is saying yes to the call He placed on her life. Robyn has been married for 34 years and is the proud mother of four daughters and grandmother of four amazing grandchildren—spending time with them is her greatest joy.

Chinique Wallace is the Vice President of For The Love of Nations and has served on the board since 2021. She was drawn to FTLONs because of its heart for people, faith, growth, and joy, and its mission to help children encounter the love of Jesus and live out their God-given purpose.
Chinique has been blessed to visit Share the Love Children’s Home in Uganda, where she spent time talking, laughing, praying, and serving the children—experiences she treasures deeply. She is passionate about making a lasting impact and walking alongside the FTLONs family to be the hands and feet of Jesus.
Her favorite verse is Galatians 6:9 — “And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.”

Dawn has been part of For the Love of Nations since its very beginning, having served alongside founder Robyn in ministry for over 10 years prior to its launch. She stepped into the role of Treasurer in 2022 and oversees the ministry’s finances and budget. She works closely with the board to ensure that every donation is stewarded faithfully and with full transparency.
Married for over 25 years with a blended family, Dawn has witnessed firsthand how the love of Jesus transforms lives. Her favorite verse is Philippians 2:16 - "holding fast to the word of life, so that in the day of Christ I may be proud that I did not run or labor in vain." She counts it a true honor to serve the vision of For the Love of Nations—helping children around the world encounter the love of Jesus, know their value, and be fully equipped to live out their divine purpose.

Kendra serves as the Secretary for For The Love Of Nations, bringing a steady hope and a deep love for children to everything she does. With more than 20 years in public education and a life-changing first mission trip to Uganda in 2019, she felt called to continue supporting the children whose resilience and joy captured her heart. Since then, she has returned to Uganda three more times and counts it a privilege to serve an organization that cares for the whole child—meeting practical needs, nurturing worth, and pointing each child toward their God-given purpose.
A lifelong North Carolina girl, Kendra lives in Concord with her daughter, Ava, and their tuxedo cat, Sylvia.
Romans 5:3–5 (MSG): “We can’t round up enough containers to hold everything God generously pours into our lives through the Holy Spirit.”

Desiree serves as a Board Member at Large for For The Love Of Nations. After returning from a mission trip to Uganda in 2019, the Lord stirred her heart to serve in missions and help others encounter the love of Christ. In 2022, she joyfully joined the board, counting it an honor to partner in making a global impact.
Desiree moved to the Charlotte area in 2009 and is a wife, mother of three, and proud “Memaw” to three grandchildren. She enjoys tending to her growing homestead and loves combining art and ministry to see others healed and set free.
Isaiah 43:4: “Because you are precious in My sight, you are honored, and I love you.”

Caren has served as a Board Member at Large for For The Love of Nations since 2025.
Caren has carried a heart for the nations ever since her first mission trip in 1996. Since then, she has participated in or led trips to nine different countries. So, when Robyn—who shares that same passion—invited her to join the For The Love of Nations board, saying yes came easily.
She moved to Charlotte in 2016, where she lives with her husband, Doug. She has an adult daughter, Isabel, and loves spending time with family and friends. Caren also thrives when she’s helping others and expressing her creativity.
Her favorite Bible verse is:
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek His will in all you do, and He will show you which path to take.” — Proverbs 3:5–6 (NLT)
